Friends of Founders Park expand patio and request town resources for maintenance Plateau Daily News article
Thank you for your generous contributions in the past to complete Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park that serves as a place for picnics, time with family, community events and provides quiet time amid the bustle of a busy shopping area. The park is now a “centerpiece” of community gatherings and a showcase where many visitors, seasonal and year-round residents gather. Our organization, Friends of Founders Park, serves our community to protect, inform and represent the Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park. We provide for many aspects of park maintenance including annual flower color, replacement of storm damaged items, and pruning. General upkeep and design guidance is provided to insure the park remains a high quality environment for public use. The items we provide are not included in the general maintenance provided by the Town of Highlands. Also, 100% of all donations are used for the park’s maintenance and any capital projects that may arise. Again, thank you for your support. Your donation to the Friends of Founders Park, a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, is tax deductible. Our Federal Tax ID number is 47-4144794. Please join in this worthwhile effort to maintain our town central park that makes our town a great place to live or visit.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will provide funds for the benefit of the Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park including providing color and ongoing care for the Park.
