Our goal: The Friends of Founders Park goals are to Protect, Inform the Public and Represent Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park.
Mission Statement: The mission of Friends of Founders Park is to generate, organize and apply financial resources and volunteer resources for the maintenance, improvement and protection of Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park in cooperation with the Town of Highlands, North Carolina.
Park Use Primary Use: Daytime use includes being a retreat for workers and visitors to sit, meet, picnic and relax. Town of Highlands Wi-Fi is provided.
Secondary Use: These events include concerts, ice skating, arts and crafts, market days, non-profit fundraisers, sponsored gatherings and festivals.
On behalf of Friends of Founders Park Board of Directors, we wish to thank you for attending our annual Low Country Shrimp Boil. The event was held at the plaza at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park in downtown Highlands. Food was masterfully prepared by Chef Marty Rosenfield and music was provided by the Highlands Chamber of Commerce. The event was our usual outstanding success.

Friends of Founders Park is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization and 100% of all donations are used for the park improvements.
